One of my favorite producers that Twitter introduced me to would be Lee Trebeaux. The discovery itself was accidental, as we initially began conversing not through music, but through his parody Tyrese account. I would come to find later that Trebeaux is a talented musician, writer and producer.
Lee’s work was recently featured in “The Source” magazine for his production for NY Hip-Hop artist Nerd Ferguson’s “Happy Hour” and “The Hangover”. Lee is currently working on R&B artist Arlene Marie’s project as well as serving as Musical Director for former American Idol contestant Danny Grijalva.
His Rafter Music project featuring remixes of popular R&B hits has received critical acclaim from bloggers and magazines alike. I found it to be the perfect showcasing for his ear for live music, and also his ability to create music specifically for an artist, major or minor.
Lee is continuing to redefine the boundaries of music with his tireless work ethic, research, and dedication to his craft.
