The return of the tournament styled beat battle Behind The Breaks made it’s official return on August 31st 2014 after a slight hiatus. Event creator DJ Ambush served as host of the event, which was judged by acclaimed producers Antman Wonder, Hezekiah and Margel the Sophant. The contestants this time around, Wes Manchild, The Sound Junkie, Rolled Gold, Small Pro, Arckatron, RedHat, Golden Spiral and returning champion Junetana, all had the daunting task of competing against each other using samples from the soundtrack to the classic movie Cooley High. If this sounds like a Hip-Hop head’s dream that’s because it is. Watch the video and see why you should definitely not miss this event.

This should make any Wu fan happy. The whole Clan (including Raekwon) sat down last night with Jon Stewart to speak on the Clan’s legacy, overcoming issues within and much more.
