In response to Drake’s comments about Joe Budden at his Summer Sixteen Tour, Budden does what he does best and responds with the new track “Just Because”. While I feel that this one isn’t as scathing as “Making A Murderer Pt. 1” or “Wake” have been, Joe still establishes the fact that he’s not going to stop until he makes Drake respond in with some actual bars. Joe Budden returns back to attack mode with the release of the new Drake diss track “Afraid”. This is in response to Drake not changing his verse in his latest featured song “No Shopping” by French Montana. In listening to this and the other songs by Budden in response to Drake all I can say is this definitely going to be something as simple as doing “Back To Back”. Joe Budden utilizes the instrumental to Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar’s single “Freedom” from her album Lemonade in his latest release. Addressing the recent chain of events involving the murder of Philando Castile, Eric Garner, Sandra Bland and much more, Budden takes a much needed break from his dissing of Drake to release by far one of his best and socially necessary songs to date. Any true fan of Budden’s will appreciate this song. Any person living and witnessing what’s going on at this current time will undoubtedly agree that this is what music should be like in regards to capturing current society.
